KDPS Seeking Info in the Killing of Brandon Joshua Brewer

 

Kalamazoo, MI:  Nearly four years ago in the early afternoon of August 2, 2020, Officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 1000 block of N. Rose Street.  When Officers arrived, they found Brandon Joshua Brewer lying on the ground.  Mr. Brewer was suffering from obvious gunshot wounds.  Mr. Brewer would later succumb to his injuries and was pronounced dead at an area hospital. 

 

This incident occurred in the middle of the day with several people in the area.  Since that day, Detectives have been working the case and need those with information to come forward.  The killer cannot be allowed to hide behind the code of silence. 

 

We are asking anyone with information about this incident involving gun violence or related criminal activity to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 269-337-8139 to speak with a Detective.  Information can also be provided anonymously through the Kalamazoo Silent Observer tip line at 269-343-2100, the “P3Tips” app, or online at www.KalamazooSilentObserver.com.

Silent Observer provides a telephone hotline and web tip page  to encourage citizens in the community to volunteer vital information helpful to law enforcement agencies in their crime-fighting efforts.   In addition, tips can be submitted through the free app "P3Tips." 

Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward if the information given leads to an arrest and conviction, or grand jury indictment, of a felony offender.
